Scrapbooking and Tear Bears

Tear Bears look great on Scrapbook pages. They are so cute, I don't have a page without them. When you make them it don't matter how hard you try, they all look different with there own personalities. It is a fun pass time, just make sure when you sit down to make one, especially if it is the first time, you don't have anything else to do. It can be quite frustrating when you first start, but believe me when you make your first one you will be happy you did. When I make them is when my 3 year old son needs everything he can possibly think of, it's so funny! So it takes quite a while for me to make just one anymore. That is why I don't list as many as I used to on Ebay. My son is growing up and needing me more everyday, so he is first always.

Changed Domain

I had to start a new blog today. My old one is Nicole's Torn Creations. My domain wouldn't work right because I tried to change my blog. So I started out fresh with a new blog and named it Designs by Colie. Colie is a nickname that my cousins call me and I thought it would be a great name for my blog. It was kind of discouraging after all the work I have put into the old blog, but it seems to be going smoothly so far.

My First Tear Bear

When I first started making Tear Bears it was awful. I bought the thin mulberry paper and found out right away that it wasn't right. So I did a lot of research to figure out how to do it. It took a long time and a lot of really ugly tear bears to finally get it right. So don't get discouraged and keep on trying. The eyes are still tough for me, I have tried everything to get them to look really cute. I make my Tear Bears and sell them on Ebay occasionally. I will post the Tear Bears I make on my blog that are for sale on Ebay. I will be putting free instructions on here soon, so check back.
